Philodendron bicolor

Categories: ,

What I find most interesting about this species is that not only is it very aptly named as ‘bicolor’, the surface of the leaf is green, and the reverse is a deep reddish purple. along the side you can actually see where the leaf changes color! Check out the pictures.

This is such an unusual plant and is not in many private collections.
