Well this is it. Pretty much the most fantastic plant I have in the collection. With its long dark rippled leaves and phenominal beauty, this climbing philo stands out way above the rest. P. patriciae is from the Chocó region of NW Colombia in South America. I searched for years for this Philo in vain, then one day…there it was at a plant show. Wait, I’m tearing up again…OK, anyway this Philo is a pleasure to grow and my heart leaps a little every time my mother plant gets a new leaf.
The first picture is one of my stock plants, The second is a mature plant in Ecuador, the third is a picture of the bloom, and the last picture is an example of the size plant available. Largest leaf is about 8″ long.
