This is the tissue culture (TC) form of Rhaphidophora tetrasperma that is often confused with Rhaphidophora pertusa. As it grows up a totem, it does get thicker, mature leaves like the form I usually propagate from cuttings.

R, tetrasperma is a native of Thailand and Malaysia and was discovered in the late 1800’s.  Rare in nature, Rhaphidophora tetrasperma is a small growing climber that only grows in a few locations on the Malaysian peninsula near Kelantan and Perak as well as southern Thailand. It is a great houseplant, especially for anyone who simply doesn’t have the room for some of the huge aroid species, but still wants that tropical look. Plants available have leaves about 2-3″ long as in the image. When you order this item you will get 3 plants.
