Now this is a way cool Brazilian philodendron. Named for naturalist Leland Miyano, Philodendron longilobatum ‘Leylano Miyano’ is an unusual aroid. With its big “ears” and leaves that look as if they were cut with scissors, there is not another Philodendron that looks quite like it. This is an easy to grow climber and I have not listed it before. Philodendron longilobatum created huge excitement at the Aroid show a couple years ago and sold for $740 at auction. This is the first year I have been able to propagate it. It is really an unusal plant, and our stock plant has leaves nearly 3 feet long.
The plant I have available has leaves about 12-18″ long already.
