Description

Anthurium bakeri is a semi pendant species that is most well known for its bright red fruits that set without pollination. Its compact growth habit makes it popular with growers.

This species is known from Guatemala to Colombia in wetter parts of tropical moist, premontane wet, and tropical wet forest at elevations from sea level to 660 m. In Panama, the species ranges to 1,000 m elevation. In Colombia it is known from a single collection from None de Sanlander. Leaves on the plants we have available are about 4-6″ long
