Sometimes I get lucky. I walked into a nursery a last year and lo and behold I found this plant. This doesn’t happen as much as it used to, simply because I have so many plants that I rarely go looking at other local nurseries. This little guy looks like it wanted to be Alocasia plumbae, but ended up a mutant. I haven’t had it get larger than 6″ tall and it doesn’t seem to form any kind of discernable leaves, besides the ocasional mini paddle. This is a tough, easy to grow miniature plant and that breaks all the rules. it’s absolutely an exceptional plant. The plants we have at this time are about 4″ tall.
